Millennia vs. Doctor Schrink: Volume 2
Issue #6: "The Tragic Origin Story"
Stuck in the bedroom of the mysterious Casey, Millennia seems further than ever from her goal of getting back to her normal size. The more she learns about her new giantess "roommate", the more uncomfortable she feels about her current predicament. But can she count on Josh for a speedy rescue, or will our petite protagonist have to rely on her own wits to get out of this one?
Millennia quickly realizes that it isn't Casey's intention to keep her under lock and key. However, a close encounter with the resident French bulldog quickly teaches her that leaving the bedroom might not be the safest course of action. Perhaps her only hope is to reach out to Casey and uncover her true motivations ...
Issue #7: "Vigilance"
After Casey falls asleep, Millennia is able to use her webcam to finally get a message to Josh. She isn't out of the woods just yet, though - it's going to take a little detective work for him to figure out exactly where she is. In the meantime, our wannabe vigilante Casey remains determined to convince Millennia to become her mentor, even if involves putting the pair of them in harm's way ...
In Star City, if you go out looking for crime under the cover of darkness, you're likely to run right into it. That's exactly what happens to Casey, much to the concern of her miniature sidekick. And just as Millennia predicts, the inexperienced crime-fighter very quickly finds herself in way over her head.
That means Millennia is the only person who can save her now. But what can a powerless shrunken superheroine really do in such a dangerous situation?
Issue #8: "A Fly on the Wall"
Josh's investigative work has paid off and he finally knows where he can find Millennia. Much to his surprise, his ex-girlfriend Sherry also volunteers to help him recover his "doll."
He's probably going to need all the help he can get, especially considering the strong feelings of attachment that Casey has developed towards the shrunken superheroine. Unwilling to part ways with her new best friend, Casey makes a desperate break for it and goes on the run with Millennia in tow. Can Josh and Sherry catch up with her and convince her to give up her companion?
As for Millennia herself, her main concern is still finding her father and getting back to her normal size. Perhaps she already has a new plan in mind. The only question is, who's going to be assisting her with it?
Issue #9: "Heartbeat"
While Panthera continues to investigate Millennia's disappearance, the shrunken superheroine herself plots another desperate attempt to reach her father Captain Aeon. At least now she has a new ally in the form of Sherry, who has only just learned that Millennia isn't an action figure after all. Once the shock has subsided she agrees to help Millennia, which involves her participation in a very unusual audition.
Posing as a mysterious new superheroine named "Heartbeat", if Sherry is able to convince a panel of judges that she has super powers then she could earn a private meeting with Captain Aeon himself. This will be no easy task though, even with the assistance of a living, breathing doll.
To make matters worse, one of the judges is the arrogant young superhero Scope - who unwittingly revealed his deep disdain for Millennia not too long ago. But he may yet prove to be of some use to our heroine ...
Issue #10: "Big Trouble"
After following Scope to a mysterious location, Sherry and Millennia have discovered none other than Doctor Schrink himself! And wherever the doctor is, surely his size-altering machine can't be far away. Does this mean that Millennia's shrinking nightmare might finally be coming to an end? Or are things just about to get worse for our heroine and her plucky sidekick?
Unfortunately, stealth is not Sherry's forte, so it doesn't take long for them to get discovered. Once these two damsels are helpless in the hands of Doctor Schrink and his allies, there's only one fate that could possibly be in store for them: more shrinking! And then it's Paul, the slimy director of the Superheroes union, who seems to have a plan in mind for the pair of them ...
