Millennia vs. Doctor Schrink: Volume 4

Issue #16: "Learning to Fly"

Even though she remains stuck at her reduced size without the help of the formula, Millennia does appear to be recovering at least some of her powers. She still can't fly, but perhaps a little guidance from Captain Aeon might help her to re-learn that skill. Meanwhile, Doctor Schrink tests out his new creation on one of Millennia's fellow superheroines. With his technological arsenal becoming more impressive by the day, time might be running out to put an end to his insanity ...

Having regained her powers, Millennia takes a dose of the formula to restore her size and then decides to give the bullying Peter a quick "dose" of his own medicine. She puts the young man over her knee for a well-deserved spanking, and then on the advice of Alison she uses the formula to shrink him to doll-size for a further punishment.

She doesn't have much time to relish this payback, though, as a surprising family secret is revealed to her ...

Issue #17: "A Small World"

The headquarters of the Domestic Union of Superheroes has long been considered a symbol of strength and justice. But how will this monument fare against a visit from Doctor Schrink and his new shrinking weapon? He may find some new heroes to add to his little collection. 

Millennia, meanwhile, has a run-in with a couple of familiar faces ... You'll need to cast your mind way back to issue #1 to recognize the two escaped convicts Millennia encounters in an abandoned warehouse. The playing field has leveled a bit since then, what with our heroine's little shrinking problem, but she does seem to have recovered her powers - and she might even have a very small ally on her side.

Elsewhere, Sherry finally finds the time to pay a visit to her sister in the hospital. Her tiny stature may come as something of a surprise though, and she'll certainly have a lot of explaining to do regarding her recent adventures!

Issue #18: "Little Heroes"

Inside Doctor Schrink's secret base, a surprise arrival has created a distraction for the mad scientist, meaning he might not notice that some of his allies appear to have increasing concerns about his plans. Meanwhile, Millennia and Spinster return to the panther's den to receive disturbing news about Schrink's latest activities ...

The two shrunken superheroines are dispatched on a mission to interview one of the witnesses to Doctor Schrink's attack on the union headquarters. This doesn't go particularly well, as Millennia's size-restoring formula begins to wear off at a rather awkward moment!

At least her time alone with Spinster might give them an opportunity to discuss their possible kinship, which also leaves their father Captain Aeon with a lot of explaining to do.

Issue #19: "The Pawn's Gambit"

The arrival of an unlikely ally might give Millennia and her friends the opportunity to finally defeat Schrink and prevent him from carrying out his campaign of shrinking terror.  Of course, their plan does require Millennia to ask Sherry for help once again. With the two tiny ladies reunited, will they stand a chance against the insane scientist and his cohort?

Now that Scope appears to be back on the right side, he and Millennia head over to Sherry and Josh's apartment. Finding it empty, they enjoy the "calm before the storm" by having a little drink which leads to certain other ... recreational activities.

And then it's time for them to head inside the belly of the beast, Doctor Schrink's secret base. Everything has been leading up to this ...

Issue #20: "On the Shoulders of Giants"

Our three mini-heroines Millennia, Sherry and Alison have successfully infiltrated Doctor Schrink's secret base. With some help from Panthera and her new protege Casey, their mission is to rescue the captured superheroes and shut down Schrink's doomsday device, which threatens to shrink everybody on the entire continent! Of course, no plan ever goes completely smoothly ...

Millennia hasn't been in confinement for very long before she is collected by one of the guards and given the troublesome job of "entertaining the troops." This means that it's left up to Sherry to muster the powerless, demotivated shrunken superheroes into action and lead them towards escape. Unfortunately, a very familiar obstacle will stand in their way.

Meanwhile, Panthera and Casey have hit their own snag while trying to deactivate the doomsday device and they find themselves captured by Schrink's goons. It seems that someone else is going to have to try and foil his plans for a "new world."

And what's going on with Cynthia, the mother of Alison and former lover of both Captain Aeon and Doctor Schrink? She has returned to Schrink's side, but where do her loyalties truly lie? Whatever the truth may be, it seems that in the end a great sacrifice might be required to put an end to the doctor's maniacal schemes.
