Shrinking Suspicion

Issue #1: "Deduction"

It's been three months since Detective Kate Swift received a disturbing call in the middle of the night, which began her investigation into incredible rumors of people shrinking - much to the amusement and derision of her fellow law enforcement officers. 

But she soon learns that these bizarre events have been happening for years, across at least two continents, and that the source of these incidents may be very close to home indeed ...

While searching a mysterious factory downtown, her only solid lead so far, Detective Swift comes into very close contact with a strange green chemical. She thinks little of it at the time, but the following day a sudden shrinking episode at the police station takes her down to less than four feet tall. Unfortunately for her, it turns out that most of her colleagues are less than sympathetic towards her plight. Surely the diminutive detective can find someone to help her?

Issue #2: "Elizabeth's Story"

Elizabeth is a professional escort. She's experienced at what she does, and there are very few "special interests" that could even cause her to raise an eyebrow these days. But when she meets two men who claim they have the ability to shrink her down to twelve inches tall, thus opening her up to a very exclusive and well-paying clientele, well ... that does catch her off-guard a little bit. But then, money is money ...

Elizabeth's first client after her "scaling-down" is a young man named Will Grande, heir to the Grande business empire. He soon opens up to the miniature woman and teaches her more about the origin and nature of his fetish, and before long she becomes the latest guest to his "dollhouse of pleasure."

All is not as it seems, however. After her session has ended, Elizabeth does not begin to grow back to her normal size as was promised. Instead she starts to suspect that she has fallen into a trap. Fortunately, she does happen to be rather close to someone who works in law enforcement, and who she can alert to her predicament.

Issue #3: "In the Woods"

Detective Kate Swift has surrendered herself into the hands of the very men who are responsible for her shrinking. On the surface it seems like an extremely unwise decision. However, a good detective is always one step ahead, and perhaps they're taking her exactly where she wants to go ...

In a small hut deep in the woods, Kate is reunited with her missing sister Elizabeth. Surprisingly she discovers that her younger sibling has been kept rather comfortable, despite her shrunken condition. Elizabeth is even reluctant to try and make an escape from her captors, and it may take some convincing.

If they do decide to attempt a getaway, they're going to have to hike across a giant and hostile wilderness. It's a very dangerous wide world out there for two small women ...

Issue #4: "The Auction"

Detective Kate Swift has never been quite so personally involved in a case before. Not only was her younger sister Elizabeth one of the targets of this criminal shrinking enterprise, but Kate herself has become its most recent acquisition. Now that she's found and rescued her sister, the two of them might be on the verge of uncovering the sinister truth behind the whole operation ...

Having discovered a suspicious lakehouse hidden in the forest, our two mini-investigators attempt to sneak inside, but they are captured in the process. They soon begin to understand the true nature of this place: it's an auction-house where those who have been shrunk are put on the block to be sold off to wealthy patrons.

Now that they've found out the truth, the sisters could be an inch away from putting an end to the whole sordid affair. But if they're not careful, they themselves might end up on the auction block ...

Issue #5: "Grande"

Ever since his supervising officer Kate Swift disappeared, plucky police intern Jim has been hard at work trying to track her down. Now he's finally located two individuals who seem to have a lot of experience with exactly this type of case. Hopefully he won't be too late to rescue her from her little predicament ...

Unbeknownst to Jim, both the shrunken Kate and her even tinier sister Liz are being held in the high-rise apartment of billionaire businessman and former mayor Oscar Grande. After being dressed up in rather ridiculously revealing outfits, the two women soon discover that they aren't the first of his "acquisitions."

Of course, Liz has a previous connection to the Grande dynasty. Will this help them to escape, perhaps, or will the rest of the family prove to be every bit as sinister as their patriarch? And what about Jim, will his rescue efforts be successful? Find out the answers in the exciting conclusion to Shrinking Suspicion!
