Diminishing Returns #1: "The Big Slurp"

Jenn Hartwell has risen to the role of marketing director of GulpCo soft drinks company through a combination of ruthless ambition and fierce dedication to her job. She has little concern for whoever she might have stepped over to reach her current position, and she's not above using her power and authority to get what she wants.

But when she decides to sample an untested prototype of the company's latest beverage, against the advice of her long-suffering deputy director Terry, she might find that authority of hers slowly beginning to diminish ...

Corporate Downsizing

It isn't long after drinking some of the Big Slurp that Jenn notices subtle changes. Her shoes feel too big for her feet, while her glasses keep slipping off her face.

And we know what that means.

Yes, poor ol' Jenn is slowly shrinking. After finding her in this state, Terry tries his best to offer some kind of assistance, but she seems to be in denial about what's happening to her. Once it becomes clear that she's shrinking right out of her clothes, he leaves to fetch her something else to wear.

That's when Debbie, the brand strategist, enters the scene. And she finds Jenn's current predicament to be nothing short of adorable ...

This comic takes place in the same universe as the "Secret Sauce" collection and thus features the return of the size tracker, which displays page-by-page the current height of our unfortunate heroine. By the end of this first issue, Jenn has shrunk to a size of 2'6" (76cm).
