The Shrink Stream #1: "A Very Serious Case"

Things have been going very well for professional streamer Tessa lately. Her gaming channel has been picking up a decent number of subscriptions and it doesn't show any signs of slowing down. She's also renting a nice apartment with her roommate Owen, something of a technical wiz who's able to help her out with any computer issues.

However, her life begins to fall apart when she discovers that she's contracted a rare shrinking disease. Over the coming months her size is going to be slowly diminishing, along with her precious independence ...

Going Through Changes

Tessa begins this story at an impressive height of 5'11½ (181cm), but over the course of the first two weeks she has already shrunk down to 5'6 (168cm). She's dreading the prospect of having to move back to live with her family, but it seems like she might not have much choice once she becomes unable to take care of her own needs. At least her roommate Owen and best friend Morgana are being supportive of her in this difficult time.

When she announces the news of her condition on her stream, one of her viewers floats the idea of her using the channel as a way of documenting the progression of her shrinking. Tessa is reluctant at first, since she finds the loss of her stature to be rather humiliating, especially after a somewhat embarrassing encounter with her very tall ex-boyfriend Finn. On the other hand, perhaps the extra income from such a stream would help her to retain some of her autonomy, for a while at least. Choices, choices ...

I've decided to offer the first issue of this comic for free, as it focuses mainly on introducing the story and doesn't feature much shrinking content yet. You can decide to pay what you want for the free version, which includes the complete .pdf.
